Headlight washer ejected!

Post by Mky77 » Wed Dec 13, 2023 11:52 am

My headlight washer seems to have ejected itself from the car. Now I know this is common for the cap to go but I think the whole telescopic bit has just gone.
Therefore I’m looking at new washer and cap.
Can anyone confirm from the attached pic?
I’m struggling to find a non genuine washer as the genuine ones are silly money and used even at £80. Plus cap which is around £30.

Can anyone advise a non genuine one they’ve found that is any decent quality?
Thanks

I would be looking at just blanking off.

Washer's are so 1980's and prettymuch useless. IMHO

They are not tested on pre 2009 cars so if yours is older than that they just pull the fuse and get a new cover.

That's the second one in a week!

See this earlier thread:- viewtopic.php?t=144939

IIRC any car registered before September 2009 doesn't need them for the MOT. My 2006 Z4 has passed 3 MOTs with fuse 40 removed to stop them working, or you could just disconnect the pump.
Coupes because stunning!
