Hex head retaining screws are a walk in the park compared to Torx headed ones. Ask me how I know!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

New front disc advice.
It's not doing it that's the issue. Soak, hammer, heat, etc all fine.
It's having to do it AFTER someone has already had a bash previously and bodged up the head.

New front disc advice.
MEYLE PD discs are high carbon, the high carbon helps dissipate heat quicker from the disc keeping them cooler, less chance of warping and brake fade, they are also coated to resist corrosion making the aesthetic appearance much better behind the alloy wheels.
PD pads are also developed to match with the disc, giving better performance and pad life. The PD pads also produce less black brake dust keeping the wheels cleaner longer.............................
