How does this affect the sport button? In sport mode the throttle is a lot sharper.
The response is sharper in both modes.

I flicked through the sport button today and it felt disconnected.
Didn't seem to notice steering getting heavier in sport, not sure if traction is affected.
It might be switched out so quicker acceleration doesn't trigger traction.
Wouldn't have thought it was that clever, who knows.

In P3.9 mode you have to be careful pulling away in case car in front suddenly stops, don't tail gate the one in front..

Doesn't add any extra power, just throttle response curve, but does give power sooner and seems to accelerate quicker.
MPG seems to agree!

Don't think i would fit on anything more powerful than the 23i.

I suspect each and everyone of you would prefer a throttle cable :D
Image
Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty
S2000 GT - gone

Then could have drilled a new hole in throttle linkage and shortened the lever to give quicker response.
