Oh, I could already speak English fluently by the time I've moved to America. Her majesty's nonetheless. I've lost some of it, but still say aluminium and motorway, and schedule and controversy.

It's still amazing you've given me a pass on a glaring tall tale, but got hung up on a two-bit limerick. Ya'll easy, like they say here.

Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

I thought it was quite a plausible dream TBH. Nowhere near as weird as most (in fact all) of mine. I blame the booze, though! :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

You've missed it too. I'll make it more ridiculous next time.

The dream, though, it was very satisfying. It was nice to be 'back' in England. It's been a few years. I miss Devon and the countryside. I don't care for big cities anymore. I live in one because of work. And checking-in the Zed was a hoot. That's proper travel.

Where abouts in Devon, I live in the Newton Abbot/ Torquay area?

Last time I’ve visited England, I’ve stayed with friends in Torquay. Funny thing, their neighbours own a white e89. Wrong colour, but right motor.

It’s a beautiful corner of the world. Wifey would retire there in a heartbeat. Too bad Brexit happened. Now we must settle with the rolling hills of Tuscany. Perhaps I should gin up a quick limerick about it.

Seems anybody can do this really easily.

Oh Marcoose, oh so unrefined,
Your poetry leaves us all so unaligned.
With z4 as your trusty sidekick,
Together you create a literary brick.

Your verses lack depth and grace,
Like a ship without a steady pace.
Your words are jumbled and awry,
A mess of confusion, oh me, oh my!

Your metaphors are dull and gray,
Like a cloudy day without a ray.
Your rhymes are forced and contrived,
A clumsy dance, unrehearsed and rived.

Oh Marcoose, your poetry is a blight,
A darkness that brings no delight.
With z4 by your side, you're lost in the night,
A literary failure, without a light.

There was a zed owner called Marcoose
Who's ability with verse was at best loose
When he reads this small ditty
I'm sure he'll feel sh*tty
And his face will turn a nice shade of puce
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Not particularly difficult, is it?

There was a young man from Frisco
Who still thought it hip to disco
He came on the forum
but had no decorum
so was banished to the edge of Linlithgow.

There. Easy peasy, Japaneesy!

Ad hominem already ? Wow. How can something so innocuous degenerate so quickly ? You win. Nothing else to say.
