Leather dashboard

My e89 has the extended leather package...and I noticed the other day that there the drivers side windscreen demisting vent is in the top of the dash...the leather has pulled away slightly from the plastic vent surround. I can see a bit of a gap. Has anyone else had a this, and if so, what did you do to remedy it?

Not heard of it in that section..tricky..access wise...maybe if you pop the vent out which is push fitted in you can ease it back..I don't recomend options that involve removing the dash..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

Take it to a professional car upholsterer? Although it seems to be a small job, you won't forgive yourself if you make a mess of it, even a small one.
