I did look at the slip ring I HAD put on the car, and it appeared to be missing a white plastic pin/peg, so there was something not right with it.
Happy bunny...now to wait for bimmer geeks to deliver my Bluetooth OBD dongle, so I can use pro tool and get the cruise control coded in ...wish me luck!!

Changing indicator stalk to a cruise control stalk
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Changing indicator stalk to a cruise control stalk
Dave....
I've enabled the cruise control using bimmergeeks protocol....not sure if I would have $540 or $544 value I should have added.
Ever since I changed my stalks over, sorted slip ring prob over, I've had orange DSC warming light and orange tyre pressure warning light on....any ideas?
Steve

The warning lights are because you need to reset the Steering Angle Sensor, as it's now out of calibration.

Changing indicator stalk to a cruise control stalk
Hi,
Thanks or the swift reply, really appreciate it.
I'm using bimmergeeks protool, and as far as I was aware, I went into steering angle section, and recalibrated it...must have not done it right.
I'll have a other look at it tomorrow
Many thanks
Steve
