]I currently have 16-inch run-flats on my 2008 2.5, they do not do much for the car's look. On eBay there are these wheels that need refurbishment. Are they worth a punt at £150 or offers? I know I will need to refurbish them.

I wouldnt bother. They are two piece wheels so refurbs are expensive could be 500 quid plus to refurb.

Pretty sure I have seen 108s in good condition for around 300-400 on ebay before.

You can do better. Crap tyres, one “puncher”, one weld. It will cost at least £400 to get these professionally refurbished. You can do it yourself. The rims are easy but the old paint is really hard to get off the stars, and you run the (quite high) risk of breaking bolts which is a PITA. Then you will need tyres on top  .

There are plenty of decent wheelsets with tyres around for £300ish. Put up a wanted ad.

Or take the best wheels, the 107. Mr Wilks had a nice site some wheels back for £350. Something like that would be a better starting point.

I’ve got a set of 108’s that need a refurb. No cracks welds or buckles. I’d sell them for £100.
PM if you want pics.
Could also box up if you wanted to arrange courier.

My second Z4 came fitted with 108s. I sold them before they started to deteriorate and fitted a set of E89 wheels!

If I was desperate to have 108s I be looking for a set that have already been refurbed, but more likely looking for something else like 107s or CSL Reps.

Do they have to be 18" wheels? I had a set of 17" Style 290 wheels off an E89 that I finally sold on here recently for not very much. They seem to be a bit unloved but I really liked them on my 3 Series.
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks for all your words of advice. In the end, I did a 150-mile trip to pick up these from a fellow club member, thanks Ian!
