On my other M54B30 car I'll have to replace the valve cover as I assume it's probably cracked. The gasket was replaced several times already so I don't think it's the problem. And those covers are known for being likely to crack or bend when dismounting. Mine has been several times, so...
Does anybody know which aftermarket valve cover to buy, since the original is quite expensive? Any experience with aftermarket covers?

M54 valve cover replacement
I bought a Vaico cover for my car, good quality, got it off Autodoc for £153 on a black Friday deal, initially they sent me an Autodoc owned Stark branded cover which looked fine to be fair but I read bad things about them online so insisted they change it, Febi Bilstein branded stuff is also really good quality
