If you want to do some more detailed research (or just kill some time) here's a link to it:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html
If I search UK Z4 (non-M) roadsters it says there were 963 sold in the UK. And it says 2189 coupes. I swear I saw somewhere else about 273 or 268 Coupes (non-M) in the UK (or maybe that was just manual coupes). What am I missing?

I don't think you are missing anything, 963 Roadsters and 2,189 Coupes sounds about right.

268 non-M Coupes may have been referring to a specific colour possibly? After all there seem to have been 592 M Coupes, and the 3.0Si was a much bigger seller than the M.
Coupes because stunning!

Ooops, just realised that I was looking at 3.0... it seems entirely plausible that of the 3 litre engine Z4s there were 2 coupes for every roadster in the UK... no point me talking about 268 non-M coupes in the UK when I can't remember where I think I might have seen that.

Edit - originally I thought it meant all the different engined roadsters totalled half the number of coupes, and that made no sense!
