I have noticed my right rear is quite dim and the indicator is only really half effective. They still both work but in a reduced capacity.
Looking at it again I now see that left light is much clearer so it could have been replaced.
Is getting an auto electrician to look at the dim light worth it or does it need a new cluster?

No option but a new cluster or send it to the eBay E89 Z4 light refurbisher..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
