It only took Ross a few minutes. IIRC it's just held to the wing with some clips around the wheel arch, but you'll need to have some spares as they seem to be single use ones.

The problem with bumper removal is the risk of paint damage, and the clips on the wings nearly always snapping - and they aren't cheap!

Actually I never thought about removing the fuse. However I have been driving it like that for about a year with no issues.
