There was a black tie event on at a local hotel to me, and it appears the attendees like their cars :D

Lots of 992's, there was 911 Dakar, MB G63, a nice E46 M3, copious Lambo's.

thats some tidy motors! hopefully a few of them were actually driven there, rather than arriving on the back of a trailer...

I think they were all driven except for the Pagani. Most of them had rear number plates, no doubt the front ones had fallen off of course.....

There was a gen 1 R8 there and it looked tiny (and very plain) compared to everything else

Quelle surprise!
You can always rely on there being rows of 911s at any 'car meet'.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Taking about 911’s, I was down at the Goodwood members meeting last month and as we traveled from our hotel to the event on the Saturday morning every second car was a 911 and that’s only a slight exaggeration, they were everywhere.
I’m so glad I chose the G29 as I only seen one other the whole weekend, result😁

911, common as muck :poke:
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.
