I have a STVL (airbag satellite left) module that I bought used to replace a failed unit on my 2004 E85, and it needs the VIN recoded. I've never used WinKFP or INPA or anything beyond a scanner, so I'm out of my realm here. When I search for my module (ZB number 6927768) it gives me no results. I'm using v69, 70, and 71.
Do I need to find an earlier version than v69? Or has my ZB number been replaced with another? I've searched all of the .HIS files and the number is in none of them.
If no one knows the answer, does anyone know of someone in the US that charges to do vin recoding on airbag modules?
