Vauxhall Prices

Post by cj10jeeper » Thu Jul 22, 2010 3:45 pm

Frustrates me whatever it is that BMW do with parts prices and taking advantage

My neighbour has his shiny '10 plate Insignia turbo and due to an indiscretion backed it into a wall. Took out the rear bumper light unit and a lot of scratching.

Bumper can be fixed, but I was astounded that the entire rear light cluster is just £30 and it's a huge complex piece.

I know I would not want one, but why can't BMW have sensible prices on things like that??

Could be right - I'm sure most EU come from one or 2 companies.

BMW Bike Club used to produce a list of OEM parts and their equivalent produced by the likes of Hella, Lucas et al. Amazing difference in price for what was the same part. Perhaps we could do something similar....?
