There is no way Z4M prices will end up as the same as Z3M prices. Is the Z3M not a LOT rarer? The Z4M, whilst great, will not be as iconic; and only a fool would base his assumptions on future values on this.
I think you should do a bit more homework before labelling people as fools....

There were 165 RHD S54 equipped Z3Ms, and they were only built in 2002. There were about 300 of the S52 variant built between 1999 and 2001. Z4MC production for the UK was 588. The Z4M is already considered a future classic by various sources - Evo Magazine for example, though their write up is a mess! - and represents one of the last of the 'back to basics' , NA, manual M cars.
one will they choose when the 3.0si is massively cheaper to run than the M. Even when compared to running a Ford Focus, the 3.0si fairs extremely well.
The M costs more to run but having driven both, its more car. The costs are tiny compared to some cars - it's all relative. Besides, nobody buys a ten year old 'normal' Z3 Coupe 3.0 over a Z3M Coupe due to 'running costs'.

I didn't brand you a fool specifically; however I still brand anyone a fool who bases their future value on the potential for a car to become iconic. Saying you think a car will become iconic is fine, as long as you're not assigning a monetary value to it and expecting to see a better return because of it.
Currently car-less!

Only 72 S54 Z3M Roadsters are left accounted for in the UK i believe. I sooo wanted one in imola red, but they are about as rare as hens teeth!
Now - N/A

Then... E89 sDrive35iS(2012-2013), E89 sDrive30i(2011-2012), E85 3.0si Sport Roadster(2009-2011), Z3 2.8(2005-2009).

18 Z3MCs for sale on pistonheads at the moment compared to 24 Z4MCs.

I'm always amazed at what Z3s go for in comparison to Z4s.

to the OP I'm sure I've seen your car knocking around in aberdeenshire looks nice good luck with your sale.

Nope, thats an S50 MC (E36 M3 engine) right colour though. Im referring to the S54(E46 M3 engine) MR, which after doing some research i see there are only 4 imola red RHD versions around.

There's an Imola Z3MR in my town i see a fair bit, beautiful car. It's a late one so assume S54.

Waved at him a couple of times but he's never looked at me.. :driving:

That Imola Z3MC looks stunning.

Back on topic, looks keenly priced to me but like everyone says no ones buying privately. Split the wheels for best profit. Hope I never have to sell mine
Imola Z4MR #0026 6 yrs, & 66k so far..

i find it hard to really value the z4m c/r. Suddenly they seem to be on the up and a few months later down again, as someone said, supply and demand, I'm sure prices will firm up again in summer. how much is the cheapest MR/MC currently in market(not cat d/c). proper well maintained with extras on it.
