I'm 23
Insurance on my Z4 M Coupe? £1300/yr That started out as £2000 , but adjusting things like the excess worked it down.

Re: now for the HOW OLD are you thread??
I AM proud of my Zed (especially because it's white ), not only because it's a BMW for me but because it's such a good drive! I've been fortunate to be able to afford one at a youngish age (25) purely because of the job I do. But seeing on this forum there are loads of youngsters here too! At the moment we're just a happy young couple but with little ones on the way (hopefully) I'm scared I'll have to bid farewell to the Zed!
The only thing I'm confused here is the insurance, I'm 25, married and obviously a female(!) and my Zed is 2.2l with 2 years NCB, yet my insurance is still £1000 this year! I've read some fellow users getting a Z4M, male, under 25 (as young as 21) and quoted £1300? I tried to get a quote for a 3.0 Z but it was over £1300

I can't seem to find any cheaper on moneysupermarket.com! Maybe you have more NBC than me and a year older? - does it make that big a difference?

Try Bell Direct. At 24 with 6 yrs NCB I was paying £1230 for an M3, £600 excess.liTTle wHitE sHarK.. wrote:

Or Direct Line - at 23, 4 years NCB, my 330 was £540FC and that was 55% discount, so I'm sure you can get £1300 down!
