Got her done this morning, thunderstorms passed just a few miles south of me :D . Got to watch some of the lightning in the distance while washing my Z. Now, hopefully, I won't catch any rain on the way over today :idunno:

Greenville SC. All is well. Dragon was great. No cops and not much traffic. We saw only one Z3 blue in color.

Chuck,

I smiled like you said and hopefully broke the cameras. I will be have lots of pics to share when we get home.

It is about time you posted. I had contacted a So Cal search and rescue but they said they were too busy looking for some other guy in Nevada. Go figure.

Anyway it was super to be a part of HC 07. Treasured memories, and I thank you and your wife for making them special.

I was sorta looking forward to seeing your car and all the good work on the paint. :(

Come to think about it 20DUCKS did not charge for detail tips at HC, ( because he did not give any tips I guess ) :poke:

It was our pleasure to meet you face to face. Looking forward to next year. You do plan on bring your car and the wife next year, right?

Here are some of my pics from our trip east and then back west. My digital camera took a dump on me so the pics will start at Deal's Gap.

Notice all the smiles plastered on our faces. Twisties do that to a person.
Image

After Deal's gap my tour guide ( COOLZ4 ), said he had some other sites to share, so off we went through some of the nice areas in The Great Smokey Mountains. We being from SoCal most of the trees are evergreens, so this was a nice change up for us.

This is Bridal Veil Falls

Image

We lined up for our placement for the pano pic and you just never know who you might see wondering around the area. I talked this mans leg off for at least 20 minutes. Ken Sparks.

Image

After the pic I was scheduled for the tech tent. This is where you have dents, paint, water leaks. and electrical issues looked at for the price of getting there ( and the cost of a new windshield and a throttle valve ). These people donate their time and effort to do this for us at HC. The scary part is when they break out the hammers.

I had 4 door dings, a water leak and some paint done. These people really love the cars as much as we do.

You ever get the chance to go to HC, do it. The people you meet are awesome. Yes, it's about our cars, however, the people that drive them is what makes this event great. Meeting the people that post on the forums, makes this special.

Robyn and I want to say thank you to our tour guide, COOLZ4, for making our first HC so memorable. There again, great people ( Rick and Kathy ).

 Awww, Bob, you make me blush with all your compliments. we were just doing what comes naturally for us when we are showing off. If it wasn't for the rain, we would have taken in some of the Blue ridge Mountains as well. :driving:

Here we go. Putting out the bait for next year. We do have a room waiting for us as we speak.
