Hey Rob, just looked on the map of the meet directions, couldn't see Knaresborough anywhere on there
Got to say how much I in joyed your company today and to have the roads a bit wet but to ourselves was a real treat :driving: Got some nice photos as well, nice bonus, looking over the dales while driving there were some dramatic shots as the sun broke through the clouds over Ingleborough. Car went like a dream, was so much more responsive since inspection 2 service also I noticed the temp gauge didn't leave the blue box since I changed the coolant and I was thrashing it up through 2nd and 3rd gears 'AWESOME'
Lets not leave it too long before we do it again  and what did I say LESS is MORE!!!!

Hahaha I know sorry I got lost lol! All worked out in the end though haha yeah it was good to meet someone with a similar driving style! Did have a heart stopping moment at one point but it was all good lol!! Yeah the pictures are great just a shame the cars didn't stay clean lol! Think I'll be getting me z in for a good service in a few weeks! Plus I think we need to get the next drive arranged now and give a few others the chance to come. Don't suppose it matters if they keep up lol

Hey you carn't say things like that :poke:
I've been on 2/3 ride outs and found there are a few that just love driving their cars, just as much as us! But its just not practical to have 8/9 cars tearing the roads up, that's why I like less
Its also great to have a few and have a nice steady tour, plenty of stops and chats I learnt loads about my car talking with the lads.
Think! I'll post a North Wales camp w/e for the end of March/April if you liked the Yorkshire Dales you'll LOVE North Wales :D

A few years ago I read on Piston Heads a fella's letter about his experiences after a "Civic R Club run" He got a little bit off the pace and hurried to catch up - He had a nasty bump which killed the other driver.

His letter (from jail) was written from the heart and I must say that his comments have stuck in my mind and is the voice of moderation at times!

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

If it was ten_pence_short on pistonheads he crippled a motorcyclist. I found it a thought provoking thread.

That sounds familiar -From memory, he got it a bit wrong on a corner.
As you said , his letter was very thought provoking - The going into jail bit!!!!! It puts a speeding ticket in its place!

I think the fella wanted to promote that moderating effect.
