Back in 2005 when I bought my previous 3.0i SE Roadster the cost to upgrade to the ellipsoid alloys was the same as the 108's so it isn't a downgrade whatever the rest of them may tell you! They (ellipsoid) always were the best wheel choice for the Zed! You have good taste!

I will look into it if a hub spacer can be made to make them fit they would be bad ass on a zed.

Never say never........................
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Cheers for all the positives. Nice to know that my taste isn't too bad  Machine Monkey I would be really interested in the answer regarding the Alfa wheels. :)

If anyone is interested my 108's are for sale on the Forum. Just off to buy a stubby....

Very busy for the next few weeks trying to get some stuff made for other members. And trying to get my car looking half respectable for Zed fest.

After that we will put our heads together and see what we can do.

When I was first looking at Zeds I always preferred the look of the ones with ellipsoids on. As it turned out I got one that had 108s on. Seems 108s corrode like hell even if not curbed and need ongoing refurbs every few years or so. I don't think Ellipsoids suffer from this. I like both (better than CSLs!) :poke:
3.0 auto, sterling grey, hardtop, prfessional nav, dsp, digital tv, bluetooth, cruise, xenons, mfsw, cupholders, auto lights, auto wipers, folding mirrors, memory seats, wind deflector, pdc, 108s, LED sides/fogs, stubby, intravee, need a quad exhaust!

Having lived with the new wheels for a while have to say loving them.

Never thought there was so much interest in 107's v 108's. Glad that it is not just me :D
