Hi to all & Z4 Drifters

Post by johnfrederick » Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:35 am

Hello to all.

Anyone drift their Z4s in here? I don't personally however I don't think there's a sweeter car built to do it with such class.

Here's my fav video of a Z4 sitting sideways:

.

Would be cool to see other footage!

Sincerely,

JF

Drifting isn't really my scene, I don't provoke the rear of my car to get sideways, it just happens when I'm driving enthusiastically

I dno why I didn't get any notifications of the replies from you guys in my email? I'd say I'm more of a spectator than a practitioner of sitting sideways lol!

I've recently looked into getting a drift toy, but given my age, insuring it isn't happening and even if I could drift, I wouldn't in my zed.

Love the car too much for that.

this however is cool.

ya, so I just got a Z4 last week and I have to ask the question, "how do your drift in this thing"? I live on a dirt road with a couple of switch backs to great me every day. As soon as I pitch it into the corner the whole traction control kicks in and takes all the fun out of it. What do you do to turn it off?

Press and hold the DSC button (down where the roof and seat heating buttons are) until you get an orange warning triangle with an arrow round it and an exclamation mark in the middle. Traction control all off - have fun, be careful
Current... Silver Grey ///M Roadster, non-flimper spec, Imola Red nappa, permanent ear-to-ear grin 8)

I would seriously reconsider your drift plans if you aren't sure how to even turn off the traction control :o
