I'm new here :)

Post by Smartbear » Wed Feb 05, 2014 7:26 pm

Hi, having a bit of a nose around as I'm seriously considering a 3litre z4 roadster, probably between an 03 & 05 plate.
I've got a lotus Elise at the mo which I'm selling on pistonheads, want to throw some money at the mortgage and still have something fun to drive around in, won't be my daily but sunny days/weekends type thing.
My nephew works for a BMW specialists (bates of Maldon) which could come in handy!
Regards

Good luck in your search. You'll not regret it and keep an eye on the classifieds here.
You've also chosen the best forum too in case you didn't already know that.

My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Welcome aboard.

If I might ask, why are you moving on from the Elise?

Welcome, Good luck in your search..... 3.0 definitely the way to go :driving:

Before I bought my Z, I was considering an Elise also. I managed to test drive them back to back and the Z was better in pretty much every way as a road car (for me). The Elise I found was just too raw. I like a few creature comforts and a little refinement as well as some grunt :)
