Dodged a bullet

Post by Stuart Truman » Tue Apr 08, 2014 4:57 pm

The red tyre warning came on this week. Nothing obvious but on checking had deflated to 1bar, so pumped it up and thought little more of it. Two days later, red light on again. Can't see anything and wondering if I've got a kid playing silly buggers but hey ho and off to the tyre fitter we go.

One nail and one drill bit end later...

Fortunately repairable and only £18 so can't complain as I've got 4mm or so on the rears and could do without another bill this month.

They don't think it was malicious as they'd have holed the sidewall.

I feel sorry for my Porsche driving team member. Two months and two screws too close to the sidewall to repair. 300 odd sheets per corner!
