No shame (parking)
After asking my neighbour to move his van which he left parked half way across our drive blocking my wife's car in, this is how they have left their vehicles parked.
Might put it on here later http://youparklikeacunt.com/

Re: No shame (parking)
Arses! Got a few round here too. Total knob jockeys. I just take pictures to post online to name and shame. Over new year and start of January I went out every morning to find two vans parked in a line blocking in not only my car and my other halfs but another 8 cars! Could never get the knobbers to move their van and what a mess they left with nails and screws and crap.
Just let their tyres down. That's my new one.

Re: No shame (parking)
Why not put some nails and other sharp objects under and around all wheels and get it towed not only is it toweed but it has a flat or two!
Re: No shame (parking)
Just to clarify, I don't agree with parking over the pavement like that, as it is blocking the pavement for pedestrians - thats pedestrians of any type....young, old, disabled etc, and mothers with kids in pushchairs.ZedFourM wrote:+1kevinmarkwhite wrote:Most precious to the mothers maybe. I wouldn't park like that, although I do often park like a cnut. Its just I don't prioritise other peoples kids over anyone else.
Remember....todays kids are tomorrows chavs!

Re: No shame (parking)
I can understand someone being narked off having their drive blocked but the guy moved his van off the road onto his drive and has tried to park his car on said drive as well rather than on the road. What's worse is people parking on the road opposite to one another.
The guy hasnt committed murder bit of an over reaction.
Tim.

Re: No shame (parking)
Total over reaction to what is a fairly minor issue.
Suggestion of scratching the guys cars or putting nails/screws under the tyres is a bit rich from the same people who go mental when someone's car on here gets deliberately scratched. Everyone is up in arms and rightly saying the perp should have his hands copped off. To then suggest the same treatment should be meted out because someone has parked overhanging the path, is just a tad hypocritical don't you think. Maybe it's acceptable because the car in question is not a BMW
You've spoken with the guy and he's moved his van so you're no longer inconvenienced by his van parked on the road. Job done I would say.

Re: No shame (parking)
I've seen far worse tbh, and you can get by with a little effort.
If the millions of mothers with children who use that particular stretch of pavement every minute are unable to look behind and in front of them and use the drop kerb/road for all of 1.5 metres then I agree they should be shot.......
Complete over-reaction.....Not good that they blocked you in to start with but this is hardly the crime of the century........
