Rim protectors, anyone use them?

Thanks for that steer Carol. Just wanted to hear from real world usage on the Zed. Not much it would appear.

They had a stand at Goodwood yesterday.
They were £125 inc and fitting. Heard him say he would do them at a trade price of £99.
They looked what they are really, plastic rim things.

If my alloys weren't curbed already £99 would seem like a good investment to me !

I'm sure that when these first came on the market there was some talk on the M5 or 911 lists about them coming off at high speed and doing more damage than they were meant to prevent. Don't know whether that has been sorted out?

Also, I wonder what they do for the balance of your wheels?
