Some updated pix of my blacked out Z4
I finally got around to adding the Hamann headlight covers with tint, I also tinted the side markers and bumper reflectors. The 3rd brake light is still clear but I will keep it that way for now.

Has a track focussed and aggressive look , but a bit too much black on black for me and seems to flatten all the Zed's features.
I can see why you'd want to conceal the side reflectors and I like the tint on the headlights on a black car, but not a fan of the eyebrows

Definitely not for everyone, and my original intention was to cover the amber but I can never leave good enough alone
I am getting the CF badges but can not figure out what is the correct sizes. If anyone knows where to get them please post a link ( trunk/hood).Also, if anyone has them on a blackZ please post them so I can get an idea of what they would look like.
It also looks much more toned down when I have the top down since the interior is beige.
I built show cars and competed at a professional level for years so some old habits are hard to break.

The sizes you will need are:
Bonnet 73mm
Side and boot 82mm
Wheels 65 mm
Steering wheel 45mm
I don't really know where you can get them from though since you are in the US. Unless you would have them shipped from England then i can reccomend this guy on Ebay - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/ian5718/ that's where me and others off here got ours.

Not feeling the headlights but the rest of the car looks decent. And you need a stubby antenna.
Where did you get your blacked-out front grill surrounds if you don't mind me asking? TIA.

Re: Some updated pix of my blacked out Z4
Thanks! I guessed it after looking at your pics and just wanted confirmation. I saw those bavauto grills on toymerc's Z4MC last night and really like how they look. More of a matte dark gray than completely blacked out, thus giving a nice contrast to the vertical black slats. I think I'm getting those next.JetBlackZ wrote:GP20 I got the blacked-out front grill surrounds from http://www.bavauto.com
How easy is the installation? Can they be taken off easily any time or are they basically superglued to the OEM grill frames?

The bonnet, boot and sides are replacemets, you can replace the center caps and steering wheels but you can also put them over the top.JetBlackZ wrote:Thanks Lucy,They look really good on your car. Do they replace the originals or just attach over ?
