2008 Calendar with Z4
We can upload pictures of our Z4 on the site. Then lets vote which are the 12 or 24 best photos and create a 2008 calendar with the Z4-forum.com logo ...
Isn't it a good idea ?

Not sure what's happening at th moment, everyone is reading my mindBMW^Z4 wrote:We can upload pictures of our Z4 on the site. Then lets vote which are the 12 or 24 best photos and create a 2008 calendar with the Z4-forum.com logo ...

I have been looking into this idea for a while but not sure of the logistics. For example, if someone has their pic on the calendar I am sure they would want to buy one, but would people buy one if they are not in it, I am not sure.
Any ideas of good places to get them printed?

http://www.photobox.co.uk are good for 'one-offs' where you submit your own 12 photos. But for a mass-produced run, I guess you'd want something cheaper. Have you tried asking a local print shop?

10 pounds each is very expensive plus shipping... we can find much cheaper...
we will see which one is cheaper, wall mounted calendar or desktop and we can decide ...
From the calendar price moderators can add $2 or more for each calendar for website donation ...

I would say desktop calendars would be a good idea... a lot of us seem to be office based and certainly in the UK most offices seem to be open plan, as opposed to the Dilbert-style cubicles.
.. of course I am open to suggestion!

It would probably be minimal, but we should have a button for pay pal donations to the site. I'd contribute whenever I could. God knows i'm here often enough.BMW^Z4 wrote:10 pounds each is very expensive plus shipping... we can find much cheaper...

When I was running a game server, I had a couple guys that consistantly donated to help keep it alive. I gotta say, it was appreciated.

I am totally against forms of forcing people to pay money, but a donations link would be a nice idea... thanks! Every little helps towards server costs.

I would buy one for sure too.
Another forum I am a member of had some T shirts made with the website logo on the back and chest. Members can place orders for a month or two and when there are enough ordered, someone would have them made and send them out. Most members gladly paid $20 for one and you also got a cool little "CONTRIBUTER" logo above your avatar.

I was reading your mind as well, but came up empty.
It was funny at the time.
