Hi guys, to help me fund my Z4 wish, I'm selling my Z3 - bad timing I know but....
Car is a 2000 model 2.0 manual, 6 cylinder, 98000 miles with full history, has the desirable factory hardtop, rollbars, windbreak, black heated electric seats & nice alloys - all factory specced items.
Last serviced in June 2019, where it had 2 oil changes to give it a good flush, also brake & clutch fluid changes. I had a look under the car & there are no oil leaks. I took it to France, Germany & lake Geneva in July, where it behaved 100%, using no oil or water. No obvious rust that I can see, only the tips of the outer sill covers - see photos. It is my car, registered to me, I have two remote keys & two leather wallet/holders that would have come with the car when new, plus various bills etc. As far as I know, it needs nothing right now, even tyres have loads of life left in them.
MOT'ed last weeked - passed with no adviseries.
So what's it worth - in "normal" situations, with the hardtop, alloys, rolltops, probably at least £3000. Thanks to Covid19, a bit less than that - it's a buyers market. Car is at GU11 - Surrey/Hants boarder.

£2750 with hardtop, £2200 without, or close offer, once you've seen it.

Thanks, Kev.

Hi, it has manual roof - much faster & nothing to go wrong. It can easily be put up or down from driver's seat, it's that easy :)
I did contemplate selling with or without hardtop, as the hardtops sell for about £500 but this is more aggro for me. I wouldnt sell for less than £2250 & I keep hardtop. Have a think & let me know, I'm in no hurry, as I've got loads of space. Cheers, Kev

It’s the mounting brackets for the hardtop that are rarer than hens teeth, not the hardtop itself. No longer available from bmw so the price has gone through the roof!

Yeah, obviously I have them as well - but they will be coming off if I do sell without hardtop

I've just (finally) bought a Z4, so bumping this thread. Would prefer to sell complete but will split only if hardtop sells first (it is advertised elsewhere, so may well do) - In which case, the car could be had for a bargain £2200
