Wheel re-furbishment Edinburgh

Post by B21 » Fri Jan 07, 2022 6:55 pm

Had the 437M wheels re-done in powder coat gloss black finished with clear lacquer…£320 for a drive in , drive out service from these boys.

Brief look seems quality is good..one year warranty..

Not sure whether to stick the baby MSport logos back on or leave them as is? Less is more?

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

They look great 👍, the little little square where the badge should go would really bug me though, so I’d have to put the m badge back on :D

I agree with Chippie, knowing there is the empty square would bug me too

But more than that, I feel like the M logo is small enough to be an easter egg if noticed without screaming "riiiicer" in the face either.
Gone - Ford Ka MK2 Petrol - Black
Will hang around to carry materials/people and in emergency - Ford Fiesta MK7 1.0 Ecoboost - Black, white rally rims, white decals, remapped
Now - Z4 Coupe - Montego Blue: Here

Like others I'd have to fit new M badges in those recesses.

After I got my wheels refurbed last April I got a set of badges for £2.78 on Ebay!
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Collected mine this afternoon then went and had the tyres fitted. Some GTechnic Wheel Armour going on over the weekend and then all ready for MOT Tuesday.
Then when I get a free weekend it'll be time for some S/C shenanigans
