Subscribe to forums/topics - but just get a daily digest?
Hi there,
On other forum websites that I use, there is usually the option to get a daily or even weekly "digest" of topics you're interested in emailed to you. I find it very useful indeed. On this forum, I have only found the option that emails me instantly so I get lots of emails (although this is a nice problem to have, as it means the forum is popular!).
Any advice please?

Only check your emails once a day.
Sorry, I have no idea.
Rather than subscribe, I simply click on unread posts every now and then and look for the ones I'm interested in.
Of course, when you start there's thousands, but mark them all as read and start from there.
Check the ones you want then clear the rest.

Same, I just click on unread posts each visit.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

I initially set it to highlight only posts from people marked as friends, but after a month of nothing to read I changed that.

Had settings to give me an email notification whenever you bought another car, but got fed up with the pings.

I just click on the "New Posts" button.
It seems to have anything that has been posted since my last visit.
