I was Born too early!

I even had to pay £1, 2s, 6d / hr for my own lessons!
I was lucky in that respect Ron, my dad taught me to drive as he was an advanced police driving instructor, luckily I passed at first go :D

My old boy said he sometimes drove while in the Army on active service (WW2) but he never ever drove post war.

So I just had to pay up!

Fortunately my 10 lessons and pass first time was just affordable as an apprentice in those days of 1965/66

Customer on Friday, daughter was choosing between a mini cooper and a 118i M sport.

Test drive with a lady in an i4, had her 20 something son with her, he owned an M4.

Genius: an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skill in a particular area of activity:

Ignoring the first part obviously; I have a few ideas of areas in which you might just have an exceptional skill. :poke:

I remember picking up an M135i in 2014 and had a product genius sitting in the car with me and I said what does this do, reply was errrm hmmmm

Then in 2016 picking up the M140i the sales girl demonstrated the sunroof and it wouldn't close, she ran off to the workshop :D

Direct Line wanted £620 from me, up from £387 last year.

A quick rummage around on Compare The Market got me insured with General Accident for £460. Simples!
