‘04 BMW Z4 E85 dashboard lights

Post by Jrehorn » Wed Sep 06, 2023 7:14 pm

I have an ‘04 Z4 E85 and dashboard lights are on. I replaced the alternator and battery with factory specifications. Lights still on. I then replaced all the sensors associated with each dashboard light. Lights will not go off. Haven’t taken it to dealer yet but wanted to get ideas from anyone that may have had same issue. Thanks

Check the main battery cable and do a scan with a model-specific scanner ie Creator 310 viewtopic.php?t=13765

Did you rerally replace all three airbag modules???
If so, did you get them coded with the VIN and system time?

As above, randomly xhanging parts on these cars is an expensive hobby.
Get the codes read first.
My guess is you may see k-bus issues.
Any other problems? Windows messing about? Indicators work but no dash light?
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!
