Hello there,
one of our e89 only has one working key, so we would like to create two more, as the working one is over 10 years olds.
We have spoken to the Main BMW stealer and they charge over £300 per key.
Is anything possible with tool32 or those available software we use to retrofit equipment?
we found this company which sells systems to do that https://www.yanhuaacdp.com/producttags/ ... 25454.html
it is about over 500 USD but 2 keys are £600 and you buy this and get to keep it the tool. You still need to get the keys with right ID and frequency which we already have (about £50)
Yes there is still messing for getting the keys to work. True!

There are quite a few of the fancy code readers out there that can also do key programming - mine ian Autel, but cost is about what you were thinking anyways.
Dr Key or similar might be able to do it for less?

im508s - not mine, but I can borrow it when needed.
I have my own 808bt, but no key coding on that one, more a home tool.

Adding or Cloning existing keys
Hello,
I bought a tool which allowed me to do this.
I bought blank keys and programmed 4 (we have two cars). The only way to really make keys like the main "stealer" is to open up the CAS module; 1st you program the keys and then the CAS to recognise them.
If some one needs some I have a tool for this. I can charge some cash, but will need the cas module to do this. This is the most reliable way of doing it. The others are rubbish. A lot of bla bla bla which leads to nothing.

Wow, that looks interesting. Were both addon bords part of your tool to get the CAS to run under it's control?

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
