I've had some modifications to the car (see below) and reported them to my insurer, LV. They have said they can no longer insure the car, so I need to find an alternative insurer. Any recommendations?

Venturi carbon air intake
Bilstein B12 suspension (lowered)
BMW 19" CSL wheels (larger diameter)
Full interior refit
Pioneer bluetooth head unit
Focal speakers

Ended up getting cover through Sheila's Wheels easily enough. Probably over the odds at £610, but includes Motor Legal Protection and Personal Injury Protection.

I used Adrian Flux..they are very good I have a 35is with over 100 mods..only a modest increase in premium to cover them..lL did the same to me..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

Chris Knott & Sky are also good - I've used Chris Knott these last few years - been sub £500 for mine with all mods declared for a few years now.

My MC has some mods and so far I've been alternating between Adrian Flux and Chris Knott.

It's cost less than £500 a year for the 4 years I've owned it. :)

Good to know Sheila's Wheels might be another option though.

Good to know. Mine is due for renewal in December. I’ve been trying to decide if it’s worth just insuring and taxing it for 6 months per year
