I think that's what they call CSL wheels - they look good on a CSL.

If you got the right fitment for the Z4 they would be pretty good, not sure about the bronze colourway (looks better on black cars IMHO).

never sure about bronze wheels personally, on any car... i like silver wheels on dark coloured cars, and occasionally dark grey wheels on light coloured cars.

but yeah, csls are always a nice wheel, assuming you get the right fitment (width and offset)

Nope.

Spend the cash on a weekend break, chance to use the Z4 for an autumn ride out with a purpose

Unless you get the right offset they'd look lost in your wheel-arches - but they are a good looking wheel.

CSL's are lush, but they have been done to death on here, though not so much on the e89.As for the bronze wheels, I love em

Weather forecast is looking good this weekend so why not disinter your Z4 and put a few more miles on it?

For such a simple wheel design, they look great

Quite frequently, I see a modified, white M140i with these wheels in bronze and they really suit it. If I describe the car, it sounds OTT for a small, family hatchback (coil overs, BBK, cill extensions, canards, splitter, BMW motorsport stickers etc.), but it looks really purposeful…almost like it might see a track as often as it does burnouts in MacDonald’s car park :D

Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty
S2000 GT - gone

it’s a good shout but too much to do this weekend. Given how little it’s getting driven there’s a part of me that would consider selling up for a 70s or 80s classic. I know, though, I’d probably hate driving it.

Anyway, back to the wheels, I do like the CSL style and think they look great on Barty’s car (bronze on green) but there are prettier options that I’ve seen posted that you might consider? That said, if you like them, go for it!

Nothing will make that poor Zed look good until you rid yourself of that hideous aerial.
