Friday night meals/group menus etc to follow in due course

Craig, just done mine:

• They only wanted 10% deposit
• There was only 1 Classic room reserved for us and Craig has it (a twin) - due to them having us and another group
• Deluxe room for single occupancy was only £104 (maybe that's just because I'm special)

Just tried to sort it out today,as it's all gone a bit Pete tong,lol ....
I was told at the end of March, around 10 days ago, that we had to go give Credit card info soon,and payment/Deposits of 20% would be taken 56 days before our stay,I e in May approx.
This was by Chris (Owner), who's now currently on Holiday!

Got an email yesterday then saying that they're going to release the Rooms if we don't pay our Deposits for All rooms now,and gave me a £2k bill,haha....
I emailed them straight away yesterday,and said I was told nothing would be taken until 56 days before,or was required until then.
Was going to get people to do it now,in April.

But then got an email from a different person at Crooklands,today, saying as we didn't pay, they've released some of the Rooms,And what's more they can only give us Deluxe rooms for anyone staying on the Sunday night!!
As No Classic rooms are available for the Sunday night!!
This is despite me Reserving 6 Classic rooms and 6 Deluxe plus a Family room,for the weekend,last July,as I usually do.
And 3 Classic rooms and 3 Deluxe rooms wre set aside for 3 night stays,I e Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

The Owner isn't back until Next week,so will sort it then,as I'm staying 3 nights in a Classic room,and i had originally said a Superior room for myself,which was a Refurbished Classic room.....which they've now ditched,as All Classic rooms have been Refurbished.

Bit of a Disaster/mess up,but one of their doing,as I have now spoken to them today,after replying immediately to yesterday's email,saying they were looking to release rooms,do I need more time,to which I replied Yes,at least until the end of April.
Within 24 hours I'm being told they've released various rooms!!

It will be sorted,no worries.
I just need to see what they're going to do to Fix THEIR mistake,as it is their error.
And I'm not happy if they're going to charge those staying on Sunday night,Including myself,for 3 nights in a Deluxe room, at Deluxe room prices,when I reserved 6 Classic and 6 Deluxe,etc.....as I normally do,and sometimes more Rooms than that!!!

That's the problem,as Single Occupancy for a Classic room is only £93 per night....
Single Occupancy for a Deluxe room is £108 per night!!
Thats what I've been told,and rooms all Reserved as explained on last message,since last year,as mentioned re room type etc ...
And now they've charged you £104 for Single Occupancy,in a Deluxe room, when you're meant to be in a Classic at £93 per Night, Single Occupancy!!
And when a Deluxe room is £108 per night, Single Occupancy.

As said, they've made a balls up of it. New owners are great,but had a few issues last year re rooms etc,and now this,lol.
Obviously still getting used to things

Oh,and btw,I don't want a Twin Room,as I don't want (2) Single beds....and No,I'm not going to Push them together,lol ....I want a proper Double.
The only ones meant to be in a Twin room are Rob P and his Daughter!

Anyway, give me until next week and I'll get it sorted.
I still want people to Pay Deposits)Give Credit card details, Based on Room Rates as I've quoted in Page 1, first post Update from the other day....
Based on How many nights you're staying,And in What room type you are meant to have,and the Actual,quoted cost for that Room type!!

Wasn’t intended as any sort of complaint, just a heads up - and I know not everyone on reception will be fully up to date with the bosses latest instructions (assuming he remembered to tell them before his holiday)

I normally only go for the cheaper classic rooms as I thought the deluxe ones would be preferred by and snapped up by the couples, so I’m not worried about a few £ extra for my room, as I know what sort of crap I’d receive for that price in London

I know you weren't mate,just meant until I get it sorted,then Deposits still need paid,and if folk do that and Room allocations/costs etc can be sorted thereafter.
It's a mess,but they're still wanting Deposits for All Rooms asap, i.e by next week.....and so far it's only you,Laine and me who've Paid any Deposits,lol
Thing is,it's THEIR mess,as they're not sticking to what was Reserved,and one person,called Kiera emailed yesterday to which I replied immediately,and it said let us know if you need more time re Deposits/before letting them go,to which I answered YES,we need until end of April....
Only to get an email today, from someone called Idre, saying they've released various Rooms and now have only Deluxe rooms for Sunday night!!
Not giving me much chance,lol .. April lasted a day,haha

I have paid my deposit, they wanted a 10% deposit from me and a total charge of £404 from me for the three nights in a Deluxe twin room.

Update re Hotel, All sorted now,and we have the rooms we require,and had reserved ,so all good.
Can those who haven't yet done do, please contact the Hotel to give Deposit and credit card info, Thanks....
Otherwise the rooms not yet Confirmed will be released by the end of APRIL
