Wow! Just wow!
I sold my F33 440i back in February to a very nice chap, for a reasonable cost.
He was so nice that he sent us a bottle of champagne after taking the car! That in itself was quite a gesture IMO.
Eight months on I got a message from him today saying he has had to sell the car on (don't think his wife liked it with the noisy MPPSK). He sold it for more than he bought it for and sent me half the profit via a BACS payment as a goodwill gesture.
I knew he was a nice man, but didn't realise he was THAT nice! I am gob-smacked.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Good karma is worth that, but pretty unheard of.
Good thing you always lose on your cars as otherwise you would be having to refund hundreds of owners

The wheels were lovely. Suited the car. Someone else obviously liked them!

I would need to start another business, or the revenue would be sniffing around at all the extra cash.
Judging by the amount he sent me, he must have sold that car for at least £29,000. It is a very very good one with a unicorn spec, but that is a LOT of money for a 5 year old 440 as a private sale.

Before you enquire Andy I am not planning to sell the white Z so don’t expect another windfall soon!

To be fair, you have had to spend so much on it to fix all the issues as well as correcting the DIY servicing that I doubt there is any profit in there
