Hi all... I have a low milage E89 20i..( 2016 done 21000) are you all using 0w 30 oil or 5w 30. Obviously longlife 4 spec.. Thanks!

0W20 is the factory spec..most people stick with 5w30 in the UK climate..

LL04 is not the optimal spec for N20 engines..there are better later oils..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is :thumbsup:

Ester based oils are the top tier oils

If you go to say Opie and specify Ester you’ll see oils from Redline, Fuchs, Millers

I’d say 5w30 for the UK

Thanks very much.. i will look into those i started to look at Liquid Moly..as Stretan from M539 on Utube seems to use them along with Mann filters.

Mann filters are good quality..I assume Liquid Moly is good…I use Fuchs Ester 5W30 personally…FWIW

Hmmmm Im in the Tropics Liqui Moly recommended me to us their 5W40 MolyGen

Oh forgot seems like MolyGen has a mix of cleaning agent in it hence no need to use their engine flush.
Again it was tech from Liqui Moly who adviced
