Will the forum please be nicer to Peter, as he is starting to inflict his 'prowess' on other forums due to his recent lack of love on here!

Asking for a friend. That friend is struggling to contain himself on the aforesaid 'other' forums.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

They also spent millions developing the hydrogen powered car....that doesn't seem to have got them anywhere (literally).
Talking of Hydrogen, finally got approval for my new Safety Valve for Hydrogen applications, suitable up to 1100 bar (this is about the same pressure as it is at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, which is under 11 km of water). It was a fascinating, frustrating and difficult project due to the small size and very high forces involved. Valve on the left goes up to 515 bar (7467 psi) and on the right up to 1100 bar (15,950 psi). Safety Valves are operated entirely by the process fluid, and are thus completely automatic (they have no pedals), we use pressure forces against a spring to open and momentum of the fluid to keep open during relief, all to within specified limits.
