I do like MR, would be my choice if i bought again.
But not if it looks like post office van in the flesh. Much like a deeper cherry red.
Not keen on white, especially later, looks like part of bumper missing.

They were on Bobs car before we bought it.IRD wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 2:49 pmSilverstar wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 2:36 pmI bought them from another Forum member. Absolutely correct. Just found the info in my old PMs. They are Bayern Aviatics Front 19 x 8.5 ET 30

Certainly don’t pay a premium for that colour.
I’ve seen a couple in the metal and they didn’t do it for me, but we’re all different.

This, but it’s obvs your money and choice so if it floats your boat all’s good.

Pity they don't do it in Sterling Grey, big mistake IMO
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

VO for me, just a gorgeous colour for me with DSB second, one thing I find frustrating as new models are released by BMW the colour choice gets less adventurous, think Sapang Bronze and Phoenix Yellow for e85/86, then Havana Brown and Atacama Yellow for E89 and then frozen grey for the g29.
think how good the e89 would look in Sepang Bronze or Phoenix Yellow

What 'dog shite brown' or 'baby puke yellow'? I've thought about it ......no thanks!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

enuff_zed, great point, the more he spouts off about what is or isn't attractive the more I think he's visually impaired, just the civic!
Even with the grille, this looks stunning, makes the white g29 behind look plain.

As an impoverished student, I had a Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia that was metallic bronze(ish) in colour. I was terribly precocious. Perhaps someone from BMW spotted me wheel-spinning away from traffic lights in Saaf Lundun and was inspired to create the polished turd colour that has become so popular
Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty

Still brown! Brown should stay in the 1970s where it belongs.
