Evening all.
I'm due to be moving house soon as a kind of last minute thing.
I have a soft top on the car with some damage after a run in with a tree branch... Currently all good with a hard top on at the moment, although I do have a spare roof which I haven't got around to replacing, and probably not going to have time to do it between now and my move date.
So I'm thinking it might be worth paying someone to do the job for me, to save me transporting/storing another roof.
Does anyone have any suggestions for anyone either Cambridgeshire (where I am now) or Hampshire (where I'll be moving to)? Given its probably not a job a lot of garages are used to doing, although worst comes to the worst... I'm sure a local indy would have no issues.
Thanks in advance

From my experience Ross at RBM in Hook, Hampshire should be your go-to. I know Hampshire covers a large area and not sure how close/far you might be but they are well versed with all things Z4 (and other BMW's too). So should have no problems with your soft top fix. They are my go-to for our entire BMW fleet.

Another vote for Ross at RBM from me.
I haven't taken either of my BMWs anywhere else since he started RBM.

As another option I had my roof changed about 6 or 7 years ago at Grosvenor Motors in Reading, not far over the border from Hants

Not in Hampshire, but HoodTech in Cheshire did a great job of mine. Everyone I phoned in Scotland seemed to have stopped doing them, so I had to get the car transported to Cheshire to get it done. Which added an extra 450 quid or so to the job unfortunately. They did the roof motor at the same time so I shouldn't have future issues.

I can swap complete roofs and relocate motors but am in Bristol. I also have a good one here is stock if anyone nearer wants theirs done.
I’d also endorse Ross at RBM in Hampshirite

Thanks for those responses! I'm going to be moving to Four Marks just south of Basingstoke, so Hook is pretty close. So it will be worth me transporting it down and doing it in the future from there thanks again
