Please help me code the new LCM which is causing Airbag light

Post by vivekdixit24 » Mon Jan 29, 2024 1:24 am

Hello Everyone,
My 05 BMW Z4 is having an issue, apparently the Airbag light is ON, and when I read the error from the tool, and the there is a mismatch of VIN number on the LCM/LSZ module. Which tells me the LCM module was replaced. I tried to program/flash the module using winfkp but for some reason I am not sure where that module is present under which ecu family. Can someone please help me with this. I am attaching the list of modules I see under winfkp, thanks

Had the same issue, also my drivers side (RHD) high beam stayed on. You should also see the 'tamper dot' next to the mileage

I used Pasoft and a cable to change both the mileage & Vin number of the LCM to what the car was, (also had to tell the LCM it had xenons). Fixed the airbag and high beam issue, and removed the tamper dot.

Lots of videos on youtube how to do it
