These guys do a great job. That looks absolutely stunning. It’s not cheap but in my view worth the money. We have a new car coming in March and I will be having it treated.

What sort of costs are we looking at here for such treatment?

We had our Golf Gtd done in October last year, cost around £350, stage 1 polish and ceramic coating, much easier to wash now and keeps its shine more.

I had my new Countryman done in December 2022. The treatment comprised of a three year coating on the all the external paintwork and plastic plus the wheel faces. The outside of the windows were also treated so water just slides off them. The car is cleaned and any swirls etc removed and minor imperfections corrected. A t six months it is given a wash and checked to ensure the products are still doing their job properly. Overall cost was just under £700. I am really pleased with the product. The car has been so easy to keep clean and of course no polishing has been necessary.
You can customise what you have done and choose from a menu which includes a coating which is guaranteed for five years.

I did have a coating applied to the 335 when we bought it
The car looked good at the time but not a “WOW” reaction.

The coating was a “Williams” Product and promised all sorts of benefits.

I love the end product of detailing. Great photography really makes the shine stand out on the cars.......however, the one part of detailing I can't get round my head is that as soon as you drive away, the car is getting dirty. What happens if a bird sh*ts on it. All that shine has gone to waste.
I just can't help feel its a waste of money?????????????

If it’s ceramic coated, you won’t get paint damage from bird s**t, and it’s easy to wash, dry, and the shine will remain.
If you have a good ceramic like G tecnic it’s guaranteed for 5yrs on the product I chose , so if it’s marked by the birds muck, it will be covered and corrected, but it won’t happen.

Good to know that at least you have that protection. I guess I just struggle thinking that after handing over all that money, the car is going to get dirty straightaway.
It’s a mindset change for me 🤪
I do l appreciate the effort put into what they do. Beats my 10min soapy bucket wash……

Nothings going to stop a car getting dirty, but with ceramic, it will make the car significantly easier to keep clean, and it will retain a deep shine, without the need to polish.
All you have to do is avoid car washes, and use a Ph neutral shampoo, and it will retain it’s finish and protection.
