TBF to the Germans it is a very British combo

Im quite partial to green and tan but the frozen green not so much just a faf to look after and I dont really like the finish, cognac in the flesh is a bit of an odd colour. Little bit like Porsche savanna, not a fan either.

Coloured ppf it and re-trim the interior….

….or just buy a GTS 4.0…. :driving:
I’m not a fan of cognac interior, but I think it looks quite nice in the zed.

An old classic Aston in British racing green or whatever shade it is is quite far from a modern bmw…. :D

But yes, those Evo pics are not bad actually….still wouldn’t have one in it, along with the red calipers too its all a bit of a mess, 5/10

Frozen or a dark mineral grey with black pack and silver calipers would be epic….imho…:D

It’s a shame they’ve so far limited it to this combo only as there are tweaks to the chassis and steering which may well make this car a perfect alternative to a Boxster or another rival who want a manual.

A bit of a disappointment for me really. I've been looking forward to this launch for ages but frozen green and brown seats....
I configured one on the .de configurator in metallic Sanremo Green/ivory with black wheels and it looks fabulous.

I actually think cognac in the flesh looks a million times better than in pictures. I nearly didn't buy my 440 because it had cognac, but it was the best around so I did. Liked the interior instantly I saw it TBH.
It's that matt vile green that's the issue for me, never mind the interior!

I wouldn't swap my cognac interior for anything in the current range, I only ever get compliments. However, the matt green is not my cup of tea at all, the manual is just so appealing.

Love the green with the cognac seats but would prefer it not to be frozen. Keep it shiny and would look a lot better

I think with a full cognac interior would work well with the metallic Sanremo Green but the frozen just doesn't suit the car imo.
Anyway, there may be hope if the configurator is wrong about the colours as it appears to be a bit wonky about the pricing.

The BMW press release says the handschalter is from £60,675 but when you select the manual on the configurator it comes out as £63,145. So a £5850 option then? Well maybe, who knows and for a car in colours chosen by kinder.....hmmm. Then, if you remove the option it says it's -£5325....hopefully it's all a mistake unless of course they just can't be bothered to make RHD cars in colours we want. I can't believe there's any market research that suggests this will be a killer colour combo in the UK.

My cost to change would be close to £30k and there's no way on god's earth I'm blowing that amount of cash on a car painted in post soviet camo green. Although I'd love a manual I'd rather keep what I have and spend £10k ish with those nice people at Rossiters if I can't spec a new one as I want.

Next thing you'll hear is that they've dropped it for the UK as nobody bought it. Either that or they'll add the other colours/trims just after most people had given up and bought a 718 GTS or something, and after that they'll then drop it because nobody bought it.

I'm quite cross tbh.

I'm not a fan of the frozen colours, although I do like the Cognac interior. It would look fantastic with Thundernight paint!

It's almost as if colour schemes are subjective... :tumbleweed:

We put out a car in San Remo green the other day, not a zed mind you. It looked absolutely fantastic and this was on a dull day with heavy rain.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

Ye it’s all subjective, I’ve got imola on imola so can’t really talk to taste lol thankfully most of the interior is black so the seats add that bit of light in the cabin which I like. My original M coupe was black on black and hated it felt so claustrophobic. In that image the seats look on the more orange side to me. Whereas the evo ones look different again. Hard to tell what they really are.
