Wave to a Zed

I'll wave at anything. Beggars can't be choosers.

Mx5s wave back. Morgans wave back. Zeds not so much. It is much harder to spot a Zed coming than an mx5 or a Morgan though. From a distance you see a BMW corporate front end. It's only closer up that the character of the Z4 comes through.

It's St Valentine's Day after all. Love is in the air. Seize it.

TR7 owners, we would bob the headlights. More of a thing as they became rarer.

Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.

I try to give a thumbs-up to any Zeds I notice in time, but I'm sure the drivers just think I'm bonkers...

I think that a lot of owners just don't realise that they are very special cars and just regard them as just another car.

Went to Bahamas years ago, the guy running customs on a island, looked like Idi Amin, got his brother in law to hire us a old US car to drive.
We had to take it in turns to be on wave duty as everyone along the road waved to us......or they thought we were the brother in law..

Wave to a Zed

Out for a roof down drive today in the Devon sun leaving Kingskerswell onto the dual carriageway to Exeter had a Orion Silver E89 behind me. Raised my arm in a wave, got no response, followed me up the dual carriageway so let him pass me, he then spent his journey sat up the arse of everyone in his way. Arrogant arsehole :headbang:
