E85 3.0
Hi all …. Been a while since I’ve been on this forum !! Not up to date with the prices etc of the Z4’s … but probably the same as the whole car market …. Terrible !!
I’m potentially looking into a E85 3.0 for the spring / summer . What should I expect to pay for a late one ? 06-08 plate . Anything specifically I should be looking out for ? Any help or guidance much appreciated

I didn't miss the fact you want a 3.0si but the 2.5si is still quite a quick car with 218bhp so consider the following car. You could always try a cheeky offer:

3.0si car's are generally starting at low £4k's upto around £8k depending on condition.

Yep prices can be anywhere from scrap value up to 10k - do bear in mind the E85 3.0si was produced in low numbers, not many about. I ended up getting a higher miler and saved a few thousand quid, and dont regret that decision at all the car is a gem.

As coldel said there aren't too many 3.0Sis around - only 963 were registered in the UK.
Good luck finding one.

It isn't cheap, but I suppose it depends how much you want one!Bodyboarder wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 9:01 pm There is one that looks nice on here .. but seems a bit pricey . Made an offer , see what he says
Of those 963 only 695 are Manual and some of those will be SE models. But it's a Sport so has the sought after M-Sport seats, the Individual Amarone seats, Piano black trim and Bi-Xenons. Now they are all at least 15 years old it's very low mileage, so I think it's one of those "find another" cars.
Here's a link to the database someone on here compiled if want to do a bit of digging:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html

Thanks for the info and link …. Not sure I want it £8750 bad but at 7k I’d probably buy it . In my mind at least that’s where that car is . As it’s well know the car market is dead and I know buying a car now will be more than likely worth a lot less next year …. So back to how it always was pre-covidMr Tidy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 9:47 pmIt isn't cheap, but I suppose it depends how much you want one!Bodyboarder wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 9:01 pm There is one that looks nice on here .. but seems a bit pricey . Prices are stronger than last years even at winter discount, low milage E85s particularly facelift models are sought after. Good 3.0 cars are hard to find, many more 2.5s available at a lot lower cost.
