If it has the upgraded stereo there won't be any storage cubbies behind the seats as there are extra speakers in them, and you're right MFSW wasn't standard - neither was cruise control.

Can't help with lottery numbers - with your luck I was relying on you for them.
Coupes because stunning!

Thank you again for the insight - I checked and found the cubbies so std stereo here for me - which actually sounds fairly decent to my untrained ear!

Alas - not much luck on the old lottery front - sorry!

Thanks Paddy!

I have joined the BMW GB Car Club and see they have an annual event called "Sommerfest" which is just an hour away in Thruxton - has anyone been to this event in the past...?

First check, do you have big speakers behind the seats or storage bins?
Then lift the boot floor and see if there is an amp next to the battery.

Welcome to the family of Z4 ownership. You can try this site to check your vin for your car options. Iam in the US so not sure if it will work in the UK but worked here for me. https://www.mdecoder.com/

Nice!!!

Looking at the picture you posted, you have the now unavailable OEM wind deflector - there may be brackets on the underside of the boot lid to store the deflector. There are two tabs on each side of the deflector that allow you to remove it and snap it back in place or to the boot lid brackets if they are there. Also, those seats are totally M-Sport seats.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks Huz-z! Yes - spot on re wind deflector- though I’m thinking it might be a source of rattle I’m hearing when the roof is down…. 🤦‍♂️

Had some more good fortune last night ... was going through the folders of invoices that came with the car, which I had assumed were all related to servicing and maintenance - right at the back, hiding away, was the original sales invoice - was quite intrigued at the cost of some of the extras:
  • Black Sapphire Paint - £375
  • MFSW - £105
  • Wind Deflector - £160
  • Seat Heating - £230
  • PDC - £275
  • Xenon Headlamps - £575
  • Bluetooth - £510
  • M Sport Seats - £475
  • Six CD player - £280
  • Aero Package - £750
  • Alpina 19" Dynamic Alloy Wheel set with Tyres - £3,095
Stand out costs for me were the Xenon's, Bluetooth and Alloys - ouch !!!

This does work for UK cars, worked on my current E85 and previously E86. Did you put in the VIN correctly? Did you check the VINs match on the documentation and car chassis?

Most peculiar - I cross checked Car Chassis/V5/MOT Certificate and all are the same but the site says not recognised?!
