I've seen a green one, but I don't think it was original as it seemed to be growing.

Brian, are you thinking of changing yours? If so, please remember you won't be able to see it under that humungous quilted mat system you have fitted. You know, the one that hid the storage net so well you forgot you had it and bought another one.
In fact, thinking on it, have you checked to see if you even have carpet under there? :poke: :D

The plastics are grey in this car as that's what usually came with grey carpets.

Removing carpets is a PITA and something I wouldn't do unless you absolutely have to. BMW had this brilliant idea of making it one piece from left to right, so unless you cut it and ruin it, you have to dismantle the interior almost completely to remove (not sure of the E85 admittedly but other BMW 2 seaters are that idea).

A potentially easier, and maybe cheaper, way to do it would be to buy additional over-carpet and get a local upholsterer to machine and fit them.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Easily done if you leave the car with me for the day.
Only issue is getting the centre console out and even that is basic nuts'n'bolts.

According to realoem it was just a black carpet supplied with a tin of tartan paint.
