BimmerLink Vs Bimmercode

Post by JakeS76 » Wed Feb 28, 2024 4:37 pm

I've just downloaded the BimmerLink app.and ordered a Veepeak
BLE+ Bluetooth connector.

I just want to check for any faults before going to a garage, or fixing it myself. I know there is a parking sensors issue.

When would I also need BimmerCode? Is it more for playing around with /modifying the factory settings?

BimmerLink Vs Bimmercode

I've got bimmercode - it's for coding - I've used it to beep on locking/unlocking and parking the wipers.

I couldn't get it to fold the wing mirrors, but apparently there's been an update which I'll try over the weekend

BimmerLink Vs Bimmercode

Bimmercode only does coding.. For instance, you put a new battery in and it's a different amp hour. Well, you need Bimmercode to code the new amp hour rating and then you need Bimmerlink to reset the battery life to new.
