E85 Need SBSL Module Sensor, B-pillar left

Post by meatycabbage » Wed Feb 28, 2024 9:43 pm

Hello! I've had an Air-Bag light come up after a water leak got in somewhere and need to replace one of the airbag sensors. I can't for the life of me find a new SBSL module part number 65776948087 anywhere online seems like they've just stopped making them.

I’ve been pointed here from the Facebook group, hoping to find someone who might have one from a parted out car and who might be able to get it coded to my VIN around Oxfordshire.

Any other help/advice would be appreciated

Hi and welcome.
Firstly, sort wherever the water is getting in or you'll be wasting your money.
Then fit the new module in a poly bag with a silica gel sachet for company, just in case.

You can use any of the modules listed btw:

Whern you find one let us know.
I'm in Norfolk, but there are others on here who can code it for you as well.
You'll need to set both the VIN and the the System Time for it to work.

Good luck

should have said, the water problems been resolved, just a pesky airbag light now..

Yes someone else suggested the other parts, Would they just be a plug and play? (Provided they’re coded etc)

As long as you get one of those numbers without prior crash history it should be plug and then set vin and system time.
