Made a start on the Mrs E89

Found a bit more energy today to do a bit more, the roof and the boot lid… couple of panels at a time, no rush.

Sun popped out for a while this afternoon, so no lights required for a couple of ‘before’ pics…

Not going mad on this car, a decent single set to correct followed by a set to polish. Have applied a ceramic ‘lite’ product to the panels sorted, like I did with bonnet, but will polish this off with a finishing pad and some sonax final finish before treating the car with CarPro Uk 3.0 ceramic when all sorted.

Getting there

I reckon you need a short break to the Lincolnshire Fens, Martin. Imagine what Estoril would look like in your 'magic hands'? :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Ooh that was cruel! I had actually forgotten about that TBH. Blame the wife, she's nuts (as are all women IME). :D

I know!
You got a good white one in the end. I still think alpine suits the E89 better than any other colour. It's the swage lines and shadows for me! :)

True-Blue you need to produce a video to show us lesser beings on how it's done properly, bit like Dave's (Anubis Zed's) videos. I often cast YouTube videos onto the big screen in the lounge, the other half always comes in and says what rubbish is this... I tell her its amazing how informative Channel 5 programmes have become  I've become very addictive to Matt Armstrong pulling apart Marcus Rashford's wrecked Roller at the minute

There’s about a gazillion paint correction videos out there already, but no doubt my suave and effervescent presentation style could add a certain ‘Je ne sais quoi’ to the proceedings

No, but you can pop over and I’ll teach you how to do it yourself

It’s an all day job once the car’s clean Dave.
